Plain-language summary
Pixel Wonders has no advertising, tracking, or developer-operated backend.
Your core gameplay progress and settings remain on your device. If you use Game Center or make an in-app purchase, Apple processes the information needed to provide those services.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how the Pixel Wonders iOS application (“Pixel Wonders,” “the app,” “we,” or “us”) handles information. It also briefly explains the privacy behavior of this website.
2. Information stored locally
The app stores game state on your device so that it can remember your progress. This may include completed levels, painting attempts, earned stamps and achievements, unlocked content, streak information, selected habitat, accessibility preferences, sound and haptic settings, and purchase-entitlement status.
We do not transmit this local game state to a server operated by Genjux. Depending on your Apple device and backup settings, Apple may include app data in an iCloud or computer backup. Apple controls those backup services under its own terms and privacy policy.
You can erase local game progress using Settings → Clear All Progress inside the app. Deleting the app also removes its local container from the device, subject to any backups managed by you or Apple.
3. Apple Game Center
Pixel Wonders supports Apple Game Center for authentication and achievement reporting. When Game Center is enabled for your Apple Account:
- Apple may provide the app with your Game Center authentication state and display name.
- The app may submit achievement identifiers and completion percentages to Game Center.
- Apple processes and stores Game Center information under the Apple Privacy Policy.
Pixel Wonders does not copy Game Center profile information or achievement reports to a developer-operated server. You can manage Game Center in iOS Settings.
4. In-app purchases
The optional Foundation Pack is offered as a non-consumable purchase through Apple’s StoreKit and App Store services. Apple processes payment information, billing, purchase history, refunds, Family Sharing eligibility, and signed transaction records. We do not receive your full payment-card or bank details.
The app reads Apple-signed transaction and entitlement information to unlock purchased content and restore purchases. Purchase processing is governed by Apple’s terms and privacy practices.
5. What we do not collect
Pixel Wonders does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not use the app to collect:
- Precise or approximate location
- Contacts, photos, camera, or microphone content
- Health, fitness, or biometric information
- Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking data
- Email addresses, phone numbers, or Pixel Wonders account credentials
- Diagnostic or usage analytics sent to a developer-operated service
6. Children’s privacy
Pixel Wonders is designed for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-operated service. Game Center and App Store purchases are Apple services controlled by the device owner’s Apple Account, parental controls, Ask to Buy settings, and applicable Apple terms.
If you believe a child has sent personal information directly to us through a support email, contact us and we will delete that correspondence when legally permitted and no longer needed to respond.
7. Retention and deletion
Because we do not operate an app backend, we do not hold a server-side profile or gameplay history for you. Local progress remains until you clear it, delete the app, or restore your device from another state. Apple controls the retention and deletion of information processed by Game Center, the App Store, and device backups.
Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain a record of the resolution, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of support correspondence by emailing us.
8. Security
Pixel Wonders relies on iOS application sandboxing and Apple-signed StoreKit transactions. No method of storage or electronic communication is completely secure, but minimizing collection and avoiding a developer-operated account system reduces the information exposed to us.
9. External services and links
The app may display links to source material or Creative Commons license pages. Opening an external link leaves Pixel Wonders, and the destination’s privacy policy applies. The Apple App Store, StoreKit, Game Center, iCloud Backup, and related Apple services are provided by Apple.
If you email us, our support-mail provider processes the message and related delivery information to provide the email service, subject to its privacy practices.
10. Your privacy choices and rights
You can clear game progress in the app, delete the app, manage Game Center and backup settings in iOS, and use Apple’s tools for App Store purchase information. Because we do not maintain user accounts or a gameplay database, we generally cannot identify or retrieve your local game data.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information we hold, such as support correspondence. To make a request, email us at the address below. We may need enough information to locate the correspondence and verify the request.
11. This website
This static website does not set Pixel Wonders cookies and contains no advertising or analytics scripts. It is hosted using GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and server logs, to deliver and secure the service. See the GitHub General Privacy Statement.
If you explicitly choose a website language, this site stores that preference locally in your browser so it can use the same language on later visits. No separate analytics or tracking upload of that preference is introduced. As with any page request, the hosting provider can see the requested URL, including /zh/ when you visit a Chinese page. This does not change how the game stores or sends data.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when app features, Apple services, legal requirements, or our practices change. The effective date and last-updated date appear at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before or when the relevant app update becomes available.
